Safety Precautions for Covid-19
We prioritize the safety and well-being of our students, families, and staff. We have conducted a thorough risk assessment, as mandated by the Ministry of Education, Culture Research and Technology of Indonesia, and we are fully prepared to adhere to the COVID-19 protocols set by the Government for schools in Indonesia.
We are putting forth our best efforts to implement strict control measures to comply with these requirements. We aim to minimize risks by adhering to the latest guidelines and implementing stringent safety practices. Nevertheless, we cannot guarantee the complete elimination of risk. We appreciate the cooperation and support of all parents during these challenging times. We acknowledge that online learning presents its own set of challenges, and we are impressed by the way our students and parents have handled this transition.
Learning During the COVID-19 Pandemic
The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in physical distancing, quarantine, and school closures, which have affected children. Some children and young people may be feeling isolated, anxious, bored, and uncertain. They may also feel fear and grief due to the impact of the virus on their families. To address this, GIS will take measures to engage children in understanding the health crisis caused by COVID-19 and help them manage their learning.
